LDB is a static reference library. It is designed to collect as little information about its readers as possible.

What we collect

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and asks for no personal information. There are no accounts, comment forms, or newsletters. Pages are served as static files.

Analytics

If usage analytics are enabled, they are provided by a privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics tool that records aggregate page views without storing personal data or building cross-site profiles. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.

External links

The library links extensively to external institutions, agencies and publications. Once you follow a link to another site, that site's own privacy practices apply; this notice covers only ldb.org.
